HP INTRODUCED VICTUS SERIES WITH INTEL AND AMD PROCESSORS ;HP VICTUS 16

HP has launched its latest range of Victus 16 gaming notebooks in India which comprises of the HP Victus E series and HP Victus D series The devices come with the AMD Ryzen and Intel 11th Gen processors. While the HP Victus E series is powered by AMD Ryzen processors, D series is based on Intel Core processors. Both the devices come with Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs and feature 16-inch displays with high refresh rates.

DISPLAY

The HP Victus 16 comes with a 16.1" IPS FHD anti-glare display across all series and devices. Since it is being placed as a gaming laptop, the screen size is quite large, and some models also come with a 144Hz refresh rate, for providing an exquisite gaming experience. The devices are also equipped with 'Eyesafe low blue-light' technology, which protects eyes against strain from blue light emission from display panels.

DESIGN
HP introduced a new design for their Victus Gaming laptops. This mold ID Design separates the look from their other Gaming laptops in their product lineup in terms of design and aesthetics. The new shiny V-shaped logo on the top of the lid looks perfect and subtle and goes well with the design. The hinge and the other areas of the laptop have the Victus branding on them, but there is no sign of HP on the Laptop, and without being told, you won’t make out that this laptop is from HP.
STORAGE
The devices across both the E and D series offer up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM, which is upgradable up to 32GB. On the storage part, the Victus 16 comes with single SSD's of up to 512GB PCle Gen4. The most affordable variant in the HP Victus E series comes with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of fast SSD, which might be enough for more users. However, full-time gamers might have to keep an external storage device, as some titles are quite heavy.
CONNECTIVITY
Additionally, HP has implemented a give-way airflow system that maintains the optimal temperature for high performance. The gaming laptops also come with OMEN Gaming HUB, a software that allows users to customize the performance of their device and additional features like performance modes, network booster, system vitals monitor, etc. The HP Victus laptops also support Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, along with 3 USB 3.0 ports and 1 HDMI port. There is a card reader and a 3.5mm jack as well.
 
KEYBOARD AND TRACKPAD
Keyboard
The laptop features a full-sized keyboard with a numeric keypad. The overall feel of the keyboard is good with a good amount of travel which will complement gaming. The keyboard is backlit, and there is no RGB backlighting on the keyboard.
Trackpad
The Trackpad on the HP Victus Laptop is 19% larger than the previous generation laptops. The trackpad is exceptionally smooth and reacts well to the gestures like pinch to zoom, double finger to drag, etc. There are no visible mouse buttons on the top of the trackpad. Both the left and the right click are present under the touchpad.
BATTERY
The hp victus laptop features a 70w/hr battery which is okay for a gaming laptop of this caliber. the laptop is supposed to run for 4-5 hours at a full charge if you are only into web browsing and surfing with some media playing in the background. however, if you want to game on the laptop, connect the laptop to the charger.
 
SPEAKERS
The speakers on the hp victus 16 laptop is powered by a popular danish brand called the bang & olufsen (b & o). these speakers are moderately loud with good clarity while listening to music. however, you might miss out on the punchiness of the bass from these speakers. but that’s completely fine because most of the gaming or content creation laptops have more or less the same amount of sound as the hp victus 16.
COOLING
With the Victus 16 Laptop, HP upgraded their cooling solution and designed it so that the air circulation serves as a Two way inside the laptop and a three-way out of the laptop. This means more and more heat is being pushed away from the system with the help of two fans which also got an upgrade from 47 blades to 83 blades now. Hence the fan area also increased. HP also increased their heat pipe length by 18% for maximum heat transfusion
SOFTWARE
You will get a free copy of Windows 10 Home and Microsoft Office, which comes pre-installed with this laptop. Another software that is preinstalled on the laptop is the HP Omen Gaming Hub. One of the key benefits is the Rewards page, where you can participate and earn bonuses and redeem them for games. In the game control center, you can control the system core, voltage reduction, network booster, etc. The software also shows all the hardware details of the laptop. HP did a great job by releasing the HP Victus 16 Laptop for young gamers and enthusiasts. They strike a perfect balance by loading up the laptop with balanced specs, which can handle gaming and other tasks as well with ease. While most people would get these kinds of laptops primarily for Gaming, the Victus 16 can handle both audiovisual entertainment and creative content creation.
