JBL INTRODUCES THE L52 CLASSIC BOOKSHELF LOUDSPEAKERS
Harman’s JBL has been bringing back a retro look with its Classic Series, and the company says that with outstanding lineage and supporting acoustic performance, the new L52 Classic bookshelf loudspeaker fits the billing.
JBL introduced the L52 Classic to dealers at the ProSource Summer Conference taking place this week in San Antonio. Additionally, the company showed attendees its new complementary L75ms Music System.
JBL’s compact L52 Classic allows integrators to install it in applications from stand-mount, to bookshelf, to tabletop, to wall-mount. The appearance of the L52 Classic echoes that of its larger siblings with a walnut wood veneer enclosure and a Quadrex foam grille available in a choice of black, blue, or orange.
Designed and engineered in JBL’s world-famous acoustic engineering facility in Northridge, California, the L52 Classic is a 5.25-inch (130mm) 2-way loudspeaker featuring JBL’s advanced acoustic technologies in combination with the award-winning retro-inspired style of its larger family members. The vintage design of the L52 Classic features a genuine walnut wood veneer cabinet and choice of Quadrex foam grilles. Beneath this iconic exterior is a loudspeaker built from modern acoustic components, delivering legendary JBL sound sure to please any music lover.
The speaker features a traditional 2-way bass-reflex design with a .75-inch titanium dome tweeter for precise highs, and a 5.25-inch cone woofer for solid lows. Additionally, an adjustable HF (High Frequency) attenuator is provided to optimize the speaker for different room environments.
You can wall-mount or stand-mount the L52 Classic, or just put them on your bookshelf as, we'd say, the last option.
