Dell released Alienware M15 R6 Gaming Laptop with latest Intel Hardware
Dell is a strong competitor in the gaming laptop category. Its Alienware line of gaming laptops has completely redesigned the way gaming works on portable PCs. The company has just released a range of Dell M15 R5 and Dell M15 R6 gaming laptops with Nvidia RTX 30 series graphics. Many people have been anticipating the release of these gaming laptops since their announcement. When Dell releases an Alienware laptop, people know that it is going to have loads of horsepower under the hood.
The new line of Dell M15 R6 Gaming Laptop has been outfitted with state of the art CPU and GPU processing technology that will enhance the players' experience to a new level. They have also made some enhancements to the display, battery and more to create the best experience for the players.
DISPLAY AND DESIGN
Many key specs are consistent with previous models. The M15 R6 has a 15.6in LCD display, with options for FHD (1920x1080) at 165Hz, FHD at 360Hz and QHD (2560x1440) at 240Hz. All three will deliver a significant boost over 60Hz screens, but it’s worth checking if the games you want to play support the higher refresh rates.The FHD panels offer 300 nits brightness and 100% sRGB coverage while the QHD variant can go up to 400 nits with 100% DCI-P3 coverage.Also on offer is Alienware Cryo-Tech cooling made of copper alloy thermal components, when it comes to dimensions, it is 14.02 inches long, 10.73 inches wide, and 0.76 inches thickness.
CPU AND GPU
The 2021 Alienware M15 R6 features the 45W 11th Generation Intel Tiger Lake 6-core Intel Core i5-11400H up to 8-core Intel Core i9-11900H with the boost speed up to 4.90 GHz. The m15 R6 sees the company revert to type in many ways, pairing Intel’s new 11th-gen H-Series processors with Nvidia’s RTX 30 Series graphics.In addition to the existing 3060, 3070 and 3080 graphics chips, the m15 R6 also has the option for the more affordable 3050 Ti. This configuration has 4GB of GDDR6 RAM, but more expensive models bump this up to 8GB.
FEATURES
The gaming notebook works on Microsoft Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro out of the box. It features a 4-Zone AlienFX RGB keyboard with anti-ghosting, an HD camera with dual-array microphones, a multi-touch gesture touchpad with integrated scrolling.The gaming laptop by Alienware comes with either 16GB or a 32GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM, both of which are upgradeable post-purchase. Storage options range from 512GB to 2TB.
The gaming laptop also features Cherry MX keys, which debuted on the m15 R4 and provide a mechanical keyboard experience within a lightweight laptop body. Maybe lightweight is the wrong way to describe this hefty device, which weighs 2.69kg.
The device is backed by an 86 Whr lithium-ion battery with Alienware Battery Defender technology and weighs 2.69 Kgs at max.
CONNECTIVITY
Connectivity options onboard include Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 wireless, Bluetooth 5.2, an HDMI 2.1 port, a 2.5Gbps Ethernet port, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, and one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port.
